Trainee: Why did you leave the company?
Me: I was sick and tired of dealing with the unorganized crap that you have to deal with there.
Trainee: How are you now? Take care of your helath-that is more important.

You have to love that people can be so literal. FYI, they're sending more people over, some of whom I know have no English training whatsoever. Who's in charge there right now?

ReplyDeleteI can relate to a similar incident..
this happened years ago, when I was in my school..one of my classmates was sick and had to go back home during the lunch break...when he came back the next day to school, our English teacher, having known about his sickness, asked him, "Do you have a note that you can submit?" ..to which this guy gave an innocent nod, went back to his place, picked up a "Ruled Notebook" and handed it over to the teacher :-D
